Living on an air park, just south of Bundaberg Queensland, means Jacko is never far from his hanger. Inside we find not only his Yak 52 (Crack a Yak) but also a beautifully restored Cessna 180 and his wife Cheryl’s Jabiru. Jacko is now retired, after many years of crawling the oceans off Far North Queensland with his prawn trawler. He is a very experienced pilot, and an original member of the Russian Roolettes. In fact Jacko has only missed one airshow, and that was because he had a leg in plaster! (Don’t ask his opinion of Snowboarders!!)
